So, here we are, with the
tenth issue of Lost Souls!
Yes, the online magazine of
some of the best horror and fantasy stories, by the best new authors around, has been going for a whole three years!
Compiling these stories every
quarter, I sometimes feel like a modern day Herbert Van Thal (the editor of the legendary Pan Book of Horror - the
best horror anthology series, ever!)
I grew up reading those stories
(which probably explains a lot!)
During the magazine’s
lifespan, we have clocked up an impressive ninety-five stories. Once you’ve read the stories in the new issue,
maybe you could go back and read some of the older ones from earlier issues, and enjoy them all over again (although it may
take you some time if you choose to read them all, commencing with the first!)
A lot of the writers from
back then, are now successfully published authors. So, well done to those lucky individuals! And a sure indicator that this
magazine is one of the best showcases of new writing talent in the genre around.
So, enough of my waffling,
you need to now read the stories, after all, that’s why you’re here.
Here’s to the next ten
issues!
